The big day finally arrived. Carter got his braces. Allen was excited to put braces on his first born. Carter was a little nervous about getting them on. And Jared was a little nervous about watching. Carter ended up doing great at the appointment. A day later he is still on Advil and still learning how to eat with them on. Carter, of course, picked orange and white for his first colors. I think he looks great with them on, and maybe a little older.

Wow! Carter you're not turning 11, right? You're turning 13, I think. You do look much older with those shining metals in your mouth. But I do miss the mohawk. I loved the pictures of "dad" working on his "son." And Carter, you were a good sport to let them take all those pictures.

This one made me cry, too. Well, almost all your posts do; however, it's just so hard to believe he's old enough for braces....and that my little brother put them on! He's so handsome! Carter, that is.
