date night

Last night Allen and Claire went on a date. They went to Build-a-Bear, Toys-r-Us and Chill (new ice cream place). Claire got to use her two gift certificates she got for her birthday. Allen was amazed at how easily Claire decided what she wanted. He is use to Carter's hour long debates before making decisions. When she saw the sparkly bear she knew it was for her. Today she is all dressed up and putting on performances with her new microphone. I caught her singing over the stairwell (pretending to be on stage?)

A note about her outfit. She always wants her dress-up dresses to come to the floor, but only one does. So she figured out that she could use some of my hair clips and clip one dress to her pants and then put another one on. Project Runway watch out!
